Abstract

|
Bones can maintain their strength when they act mechanical loads. In case of difficulty of normal weight bearing because of fracture, rapid bone loss occurs and posttraumatic regional osteoporosis and subsequent fragility fracture can be occur. We’d like to report as we experienced fragility fracture of the same patella caused by low energy injury of the patient who has posttraumatic regional osteoporosis after patellar fracture.
